A 1978 graduate of Marquette High School, Mary dedicated 37 years to St. Mary’s Hospital as a Day Supervisor in the Dietary Department, touching countless lives with her compassion and work ethic.
Mary found joy in life’s simple pleasures—losing herself in books, filling her kitchen with the scent of home-baked treats, and cherishing time with her loved ones. She especially treasured family trips to Michigan, creating memories woven with laughter and love.
A devoted mother, she was a steady presence and a source of unconditional love for her children, Sara and Joey. As “Nana” to Marek and Maxim, she filled their lives with warmth and joy.
Mary is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Sullivan, and brother, Timothy Sullivan. She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Sullivan; daughter, Sara (Matt) MacRoy; son, Joey Malek (Megan Johnson, fiancé); grandchildren, Marek and Maxim MacRoy; brothers, Thomas (Elizabeth) Sullivan and James (Kathy) Sullivan; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Sullivan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “For the Love of Pets” animal rescue.
Mary’s love, laughter, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Rest peacefully, Mom—your light will never fade.
